List of travellers for school trips within the European Union

In a decision of November 30th 1994, the Council of the European Union expressed its wish to facilitate travel for pupils who are third-country nationals residing in the Member States.

This concerns:

  • Pupils possessing the nationality of a third country who are legally residing in Belgium and regularly enrolled in an institution of general education (primary or secondary).

Not concerned:

  • Individuals of Belgian nationality;
  • Children of nationals of a member state of the European Union.

Applications must be submitted exclusively by e-mail (PDF format) to the Administration Unit no later than 30 to 45 calendar days before departure.

The list of names serves as an entry visa and in some cases as a travel document.

We therefore strongly advise to

  • Include a recent photo for all pupils on the list.
  • In addition to the duration of the trip, to indicate the dates of departure from and return to  Belgium.
