This new residency status comes with a right to . Foreign nationals admitted to reside in Belgium as stateless persons may be accompanied or joined in Belgium by members of their family, under certain circumstances. The family members referred to are similar to the family members of a foreign national benefiting from status, with the exception of the family members referred to at article 10, §1, 8° of the law of December 15, 1980. [Parents of a foreign accompanied minor child]
The conditions of a family reunification are similar to the conditions of a family reunification with a foreign national benefiting from an international protection status.
The family members of foreign nationals admitted to reside as stateless persons benefit from the same exceptions to conditions relating to resources, housing and health insurance as those provided for family members of foreign nationals benefiting from an international protection status.
Finally, the family members of foreign nationals admitted to reside as stateless persons are exempt from the fee (free of charge).
